Week 4. Tutespark

The first film which I have found is titled "Last Day Dream" the film is quite abstract and only shows short elements of the protagonists life. The short film, though unique in its presentation follows the direction of a traditional film having a beginning, middle, climax though it has quite a loose resolution. The film shows the cycle of the mans life. The audience does not see the character himself but it is assumed that he is a male. The whole film is seen through the eyes of the protagonist featuring his life from when he was a child to when he got married, grew up and had his own children. The film is quite short, however the abnormality of the film engrosses the audience, and within the one minute of footage shown you can appreciate the joys and hardships of the characters life.

The second short film that I found on the internet is a mini romantic comedy. It is an Australian short film titled "SIGNS". I though the way that the creator uses minimal talking, and the communication between the two main characters is creative and keeps the audience intrigued in the story of the film. This short film reflects the same template as most modern films, with and introduction/ beginning, a climax and a resolution. This director of the film has created a film in the time of 12 minutes which allows the audience to bond and sympathize with the characters. This movie is unique in the sense that the characters communicate with signs through a window, discarding the element of sound which is very  under-appreciated in the sense of communication.

The third film which I found and thought to be quite entertaining was a film created for an internet appreciation site for short films. The piece was titled "1984 Paradoy" and plays on the fact of global brainwashing of sexual activity in the latter years of the 20th century. I think the way that the film optimise's the force of brainwashing and the way that is done in a mass communication also highlight the abuse in which we use such technologies for.

I was unable to embed this film into the blog, however the link is: http://inetfilm.com/movies/parody/1984parody.php
